During the two-day event, women and young entrepreneurs developed innovative ideas for the employment of disadvantaged groups.
On the first day of the event, where seventy young people came together, the participants worked one-on-one with mentors to concretize their ideas. On the second day of the event, they presented their projects to the jury after receiving training on presentation techniques.
“Ask Someone Who Knows/Bi’ Bilene Sor”, a mobile application idea that informs disadvantaged individuals about sexual health and brings them together with experts, won the first prize of 30,000 TL, while “Papyrus/Papirüs” with its Innovative Paper Waste Management idea came second and “Hala Taze/Still Fresh”, an application to prevent food waste, came third.
Organizing technical trainings in different fields to strengthen women’s employment in the digital sector, INGEV continues to contribute to women’s job placement processes with support services in cooperation with Re-Coded and RIZK.
