We need to promote early childhood education!

A child’s linguistic, social-emotional, and physical development occur at the fastest pace between the ages of 0 and 8. This period of early life is key for brain and language development. As a result, effective early childhood education (ECE) has great advantages in adequately preparing children for social and academic life.

With a new research project, INGEV is seeking answers to questions such as “why do some parents not send their children to early childhood education”, “what are the problems related to access to this type of education”, “what are the main typologies of parents in terms of their approach to early childhood education”. With this research, INGEV aims to understand parental perceptions in these areas. The research will also analyze parents’ access to information in the field of child education and media consumption behaviors.
