One of the priority issues of the 2014-2023 which reveals the socio-economic development trends and potentials of Istanbul Area is the employment. And about this priority issue, \u0130NGEV\u2019s research called \u201cRelation of Employment and Education in Istanbul\u201d and \u0130T\u00dc-Marmara Universities co-research \u201cidentification of the Employment Trends in Istanbul\u201d which were both completed with the support of \u0130STKA (\u0130stanbul Development Agency), were introduced in a meeting held in Istanbul Chamber of Industry.<\/p>\n

The opening speeches of the meeting was made by Deputy General Secretary Haktan Ak\u0131n and ISTKA General Secretary \u00d6zg\u00fcl \u00d6zkan Yavuz. \u0130STKA Specialist Dr. Ne\u015fe T\u00fcrkseven made a presentation about \u201c2014 \u2013 2023 Employment Strategies in Istanbul Region Plan\u201d. Afterwards research reports were presented.<\/p>\n

The results of the employment research conducted by \u0130NGEV were presented by Renan Burduro\u011flu, Member of the Counseling Committee of \u0130NGEV. Burduro\u011flu pointed out the importance of the women\u2019s role in employment and said: \u201cWomen\u2019s participation to the employment is very important. When education increases, the participation to the workforce also increases.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another employment research conducted by \u0130T\u00dc and Marmara Universities were presented by Assoc Prof. Ilker Akg\u00fcn from Marmara University, Business Administration Faculty and by Assoc. Prof. Aliye Ahu Akg\u00fcn from \u0130T\u00dc Architecture Faculty.<\/p>\n
