Kad\u0131k\u00f6y"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our &#8220;Local Impact&#8221; workshops continued in collaboration with Kad\u0131k\u00f6y Municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since March, we have been focusing on three main topics in the social inclusion workshops held in Ey\u00fcpsultan, Sultanbeyli, Fatih, Sultangazi, Ata\u015fehir, Be\u015fikta\u015f, and Kad\u0131k\u00f6y Municipalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Identifying different groups with varying needs in the districts and determining the basic needs of these groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most effective or innovative supports that the municipality can offer to these groups and possible improvements in existing programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enhancing the impact of current social aid and support programs for these groups and further developing cooperation with non-governmental organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DISADVANTAGED GROUPS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kad\u0131k\u00f6y is the municipality with the oldest population in Istanbul, so the +65 age group, especially those living alone;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Families with low socio-economic status (specific parts of Dumlup\u0131nar, Merdivenk\u00f6y, Fikirtepe, and Sahray\u0131cedid neighborhoods)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar intersecting groups in each district (children with special needs and their families, individuals with disabilities, those affected by the climate crisis) are generally the most disadvantaged groups in Kad\u0131k\u00f6y municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional note: Street animals and issues specific to industrial animal husbandry\/food safety\/animal rights, particularly poultry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MAIN FOCUS POINTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2705 Developing intervention mechanisms for the problems of groups with different needs by focusing on the &#8220;prevention&#8221;
