{"id":11480,"date":"2021-12-24T17:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-12-24T14:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ingev.org\/en\/?p=11480"},"modified":"2022-01-19T12:43:52","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T09:43:52","slug":"acthuman-iv-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ingev.org\/en\/news\/acthuman-iv-report\/","title":{"rendered":"ActHuman IV Report: \u201cSMEs Play a Key Role in Creating Green Jobs\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: center;\"><em><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">&#8220;SMEs Play a Key Role in Creating Green Jobs&#8221;<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: center;\"><em><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">&#8220;Young Population in Turkey Should Be Oriented to Agriculture for Green Employment&#8221;<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: center;\"><em><b><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">&#8220;The Most Critical Sectors in Green Business for Young Populations Agriculture, Energy, Construction and Tourism&#8221;<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">ActHuman Social Inclusion Initiative, a joint\u00a0<span class=\"gmaildefault\">initiative<\/span> of INGEV and Sabanc\u0131 University Istanbul Policy Center (IPC), held an online report launch meeting to define &#8220;Integration from Employment to Production to Climate Policies&#8221; and offer social policy recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">Speaking at the ActHuman IV Report Launch<span class=\"gmaildefault\">, INGEV President Vural \u00c7ak\u0131r underlined the importance of creating another perception of the good life for all human beings: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">&#8220;We must keep on the agenda the importance of creating another perception of the good life that doesn&#8217;t match with consumption.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">We know that our planet is under tremendous and now visible threat, and global warming affects those with low living standards the most.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">We focus on the vigorous implementation of the green transformation. Achieving the green transition without creating a new inequality zone between developed and developing countries and between the high-income and middle and lower classes is necessary.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">One of the key messages of this recent UN Climate summit #COP26 was that public leadership should prioritize people&#8217;s needs and listen to green spokespeople. Protecting the purchasing power of the people and ensuring the green transformation of the construction sector were also priorities.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">Ensuring the safe and just transition of SMEs, which are the primary source of employment, is one of the most critical issues in our country.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><i><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: #0e101a;\">I conclude all my talks about climate by emphasizing the backstage. We are in a period of human age where human beings are consumers whose sole mission is to consume.
